The upcoming season has numerous challenges set aside for Kitepower hence the team is now looking for a passionate project coordinator determined to successfully demonstrate the potential of Kitepower’s minimum viable product within the global energy transition to renewables, through a campaign of deployments inside and outside of the Netherlands.

Job Tasks

  • Create/update product specifications
  • Validate product features with customers
  • Scout new customers
  • Coordinate/write grant applications for projects
  • Plan & oversee Kitepower projects (e.g. handle permitting procedures, land-use, grid connection and stakeholders relations)
  • Sales support
  • Shape customer sales experience

Job Profile

  • Master/Bachelor in business administration, sales or equivalent discipline
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Fluent working knowledge of English
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Effective team management and leadership skills, conflict resolution and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to think from a customer perspective
  • Willingness to travel (nationally and internationally)
  • Passion for sustainability and making the world a better place

Extra Assets

  • Dutch writing skills
  • Affinity with wind sports (experience in sailing, kiting, surfing, paragliding etc..)

Kitepower is looking for an enthusiastic project coordinator keen on contributing to the development of the first commercial implementations of Kitepower's AWES.

At the current stage of development, Kitepower is further elaborating on the ideal customer profile capable to empower the road to the commercialisation of one of the world's first viable Airborne Wind Energy Systems (AWES). The project coordinator would be responsible for planning and overseeing various upcoming Kitepower projects in and outside of The Netherlands. The project coordinator shall research many aspects of each project to ensure compliance with all local regulations, effective budgeting strategy and a solid timeline.
